Step Closer Projects

Step Closer Projects is the perfect name for my passion of completing projects. I have my hands in many pots with many wonderful and innovative people. This keeps me from limiting my possibilities. A love of being a step closer to the next creative challenge is where I want to be.

The name, “Step Closer Projects”, came from a friend who was involved in an original live performance I wrote, produced and directed a few years ago called, The Freedom Project. After we performed the production the first time at Historic First Church in Phoenix, Arizona, he sent me a dozen roses along with a note thanking me for getting him "one step closer". I always thought that would be a great name for all my projects...well, I modified it a bit and that's where the name came from…thanks Lee! Being able to bring people together for a new project and seeing it successfully completed is the initial goal. However, the real reward lies in witnessing the growth, development and enjoyment of the people involved in the project and those experiencing it.

My prayer is that when experiencing A Step Closer Project, you would be captivated and compelled to connect with Christ by taking one step closer in your relationship with Him.

	Our Team and Extended Family!
	Diane M. Dresback, MAed, BS - Owner of Mindclover Productions which produces our Step Closer Projects. Primary focus on producing a variety of useful and engaging Christian focused video's and other resources for churches and small groups. Also, currently partnering with long-time friend, Steve Wargo, on a number of projects including 2 feature films, non-profit and corporate videos. Previously, a co-owner of a video production company, over 27 years of Human Resources and Training experience in the financial and travel industries. Her Masters is in Adult Education and Bachelors in Human Services, Counseling.
	Keith A. Carlson, BS - Director of Photography for Step Closer Projects. Also focus on editing and unit production. Began working in video production in high school as a Floor Director, Editor and Camera Operator and spent several months working at a Christian TV station in New York. His bachelors is in Communication TV & Digital Film. One of his school films won the Gold Aurora Award for execution, content and creativity (see http://www.myspace.com/journeyofmerrill).
	Cupid S. Rosser - Director of Business Development for Step Closer Projects. Primary focus on identifying and generating new business opportunities. Over 10 years of Corporate Training experience, specializing in creative and technical writing, course development and facilitation.
	Trenton Kennedy - Graphic Artist and Web Designer for Step Closer Projects. Currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree in video game design. He is invaluable for handling the technology nightmares that arise.
	Devon Dresback - Soon to be heading to college with a desire to attain a degree in film production. He is the filmmaker of the neighborhood, known for always having a camera in hand and a boom mic overhead. He frequently creates small shorts for fun and for competition, one of which can be seen here. He also helps in some of our Step Closer Projects.
	Steve Wargo - Owner or Show-N-Tell, Inc., which is a video production company that has been around since 1982. Steve can do anything! He is an award-winning, premiere cinematographer and all around expert in production. He is a great mentor and friend who has been invaluable in many of our projects.
	Timothy Allen - Now, THIS guy is creative and a wizard at compositing and motion graphics. He is currently the editor at Show-N-Tell, Inc., but has several other projects in the works which you can find out about at www.iffactor.com.
	We work with many other talented actors, musicians and crew members. Here are just a few (some with bio information): Bill Connor, Brett Ashley, Dorman Smith, Jared Edwards, Gino Calabro, Jessica Mann, Joanna Spencer, Krysten Jackson, Ronna (Krueger) Meredith, Thurane
